Waaberi Phone is an integrative archival based platform for the preservation, revival and development of Somali Art + Culture.

The name Waaberi Phone is a homage to Waaberi an artistic group that played a major part in all aspects of Somali art. Their influence on Somali music cannot be understated. Our use of the word Phone comes from the way many Somali record shops would name themselves, with Phone signifying that they were a label.
